Gone Too Soon

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop---singer, songwriter, dancer died from cardiac arrest at 50. A musical genius in his younger days before he succumbed to Hollyweird, Michael Jackson's career reached unprecedented peaks, controversies notwithstanding. I'd like to remember Michael Jackson with this song, Gone Too Soon, a fitting tribute to his great talent and his early and sudden passing. Sleep well, Michael.

Like A Comet
Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky
Gone Too Soon

Like A Rainbow
Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye
Gone Too Soon

Shiny And Sparkly
And Splendidly Bright
Here One Day
Gone One Night

Like The Loss Of Sunlight
On A Cloudy Afternoon
Gone Too Soon

Like A Castle
Built Upon A Sandy Beach
Gone Too Soon

Like A Perfect Flower
That Is Just Beyond Your Reach
Gone Too Soon

Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight
Here One Day
Gone One Night

Like A Sunset
Dying With The Rising Of The Moon
Gone Too Soon

Gone Too Soon

Michael will truly be missed. It's still kind of hard to believe that he's gone but the man's been through a lot, both good and bad, in the 50 years he was with us. I hope he's at peace now. His music will live on forever.

Since I woke up this morning, i've been hearing Michael Jackson's songs over the radio. The news of his death is still a bit surreal to me. You're right, good or bad, he shared his genius to the world---that is something.

Thanks for visiting, Panaderos.
