Photo-Hunter: nautical

nautical sign at Fisherman's Wharf

For this week's nautical theme, I'm re-posting photos taken at the Fisherman's Wharf during my visit to San Francisco in February 2007.
a 40-foot lighthouse on Forbes Island, a floating island with a restaurant, sun-bathing sea lions at Pier 39
sailing at the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge at the background

San Francisco is one of my favorite places to visit here in the US. Plus, my favorite cousins live in the area. Hehehe :D

I love the photos you took and I am very partial to shots by the water or on the water. Thanks and have a great weekend! :)

i sure have fond memories of fisherman's wharf in sanfo. My college friend whom I visited there brought me to the wharf. I recall seeing the insides of the yachts moored by the pier...nice interiors! My friend however had a seagull poop right smack on top of his head. That is why fisherman's wharf was actually memorable haha! Of course, when you ask my friend about it, he will deny that it ever happened at all!

Don't know what happened to my last comment.
Wonderful shots of Fisherman's Wharf. Sorry that I didn't get back to you last week.
There used to be a left-handed shop at the wharf - wonder if its still there (wish I had bought more things from it when I was there).
Have a happy Valentine !
Graceanne :)

San Francisco is such a fun place to visit. The restaurant's at Fisherman's Wharf are great, but I just love grazing at the stalls offering the wonderful sourdough bread and varieties of seafood. I invite you to come see my nautical cruise in Coastal BC. - Margy

I've always wanted to visit Fisherman's Wharf in San Fran. I smiled when I saw the photo with all of the sunbathing sea lions. They really take over. This is a nice group of photos that really gives the feel of the location.
