A serene morning by the bay in Punta Bulata. A couple of bancas, a type of outrigger boat, berthed while fishermen were checking their nets in preparation for the day's fishing expedition.
"Surely a man needs a closed space wherein he may strike root, and like the seed, become. But also he needs the great Milky Way and the vast sea spaces, though neither stars nor ocean serve his daily needs." ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Get virtually wet at Watery Wednesday
looks so very peaceful out there. want to go there now :)
I like the feeling of isolation that comes from the absence of people. So many questions...
Very serene and I missed riding this banca ^_^ Thanks for the visit!
I really like the curve of the water's edge in the second photo.
I miss beaches most especially on summer. Too bad we can't enjoy pools and beach here this year because of contamination(T_T)
Happy Watery Wednesday!
perfect for a postcard shot.
Your first shot tells the story of a fisherman’s boat that has been used and used. The other shot has a new one along side....both sides of a coin. The photos are lovely. Genie
The sea is so calm, nakakamiss umuwi.
Oh I miss the beach :)
Love seeing little islands far away...
Luna, I haven't been there yet I've heard it's beautiful white sand beach there. Only an hour or two I think from our City in Himamaylan.
What a beautiful scene, everything looks so peaceful and calm.
I always enjoy the cultural posts and photos that you share with us. I'm always being educated by you...and that is much appreciated. This top photo would make one fabulous oil painting!!!
