Kissing Rocks - Watery Wednesday

This place was our playground when we were kids---a small rocky tip of a cove locals call "kabatuan". In my teenage years, I heard people call this place "Kissing Rocks", referring to two huge rocks behind the mangrove that moved closer through years of wave action. But my friends and I credited the name to the fact that lovers rendezvoused at these rocks before sunset. I returned to this place on Monday morning with my siblings and cousins to reminisce the countless summers our grandmother brought us here. We buried our grandmother, Lola Fanny, on Sunday afternoon. She was 97.

Oh you must have tons of memories in that place. It's really beautiful. Did you meet your crush there during your highschool years?

I love the copper colored sand. I am sorry to hear about Lola Fanny. No wonder, I have not seen you around in the blogosphere. My sincere sympathy.

Parang nagsasabi ang mga Kissing Rocks ng makalayo't bato man daw ang damdamin, maghahalika't maghahalikan din sa paglipas ng panahon at pagtulak ng alon :)

hi,
Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other are what friends share between each other. These are just the general traits of a friendship. To experience what is friendship, one must have true friends, who are indeed rare treasure.

I have added you to my blogroll, hope you can do the same thing for me so that we can have constant communication.

What a lovely place ... perfect for remembering your grandmother. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for your visit to Sacred Ruminations earlier this week. I'm playing catch up tonight after a much too BUSY week.
Hugs and blessings,
