Malingay Cove - Dos Hermanos

These are photos of Malingay Cove, popurlarly known as Blue Lagoon, in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.  At the far north of the cove are two islets called Dos Hermanos.

The crystal blue waters, white sand and the isolation of this beach attract backpackers, adventure-seekers and those who enjoy some peace and quiet.  Blue Lagoon is 2.5 kilometers from the highway while Pagudpud is approximately 561 kilometers north of Manila.

Oh yes! Truly a beautiful cove. Didn't know it's called Malingay Cove. Thanks for the info! Did you stay in Kapuluan? It was fully booked when we went but it's such a charming resort and I vowed to go back someday. :-)

This reminds of a lost lagoon in a fictional story where mermaids lived. Very beautiful sight, indeed!

It'd be so beautiful being there, enjoying sunset upon the white sands...

That two islands look identical. Are there people living there?

hi Ann! i don't think there are people living in Dos Hermanos. if i get lucky enough to win a lottery, i'd like to buy the twin islands and live there.:p

Pssst...yung dalawang islands, hehehehe, parang suso ng isang higanteng babae!

Reminds me of the song by DP, Islands in the stream. Cool shots!
