Photo-Hunter: Metal

The sculpted cougar cast in brass, a metal alloy of copper and zinc, adds something special to this humble organic coconut shell. This harmonious combination enhances both materials emphasizing strength yet expressing lightness and beauty. More photos at Photo Hunters' HQ.

I love the way the coconut and metal look together.

Who would have thought that that expensive and artistic looking piece of creative cup is made of the lowly coconut shell? Kudos to the one who made that. Truly man's creative spirit can make masterpieces of work from ordinary sources. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

hi, gizelle! heto, up to my eyeballs pa rin with work. it's basically a container---it can hold water, candies, etc. i remember when i was a kid, old people would drink tuba (coconut wine) from coconut shell. pina-sosy lang 'to.:D

this is made in Cebu by a company called Arden Classic.
