|@ The French Baker|
Lunch at The French Baker a week ago---Honey Roast Pork Al'Orange. It's supposedly slow roasted slices of pork roulade in a reduction of honey and fresh orange sauce. Apparently, the cook was in a rush and burned it. Served with buttered corn and carrots, and instead of rice, I opted for bread.
If I wasn't too hungry, I would have asked them to replace the burned roulade. Good thing it didn't have an acrid taste, and I finished it off without trouble.

I like your cool attitude with less than expected orders. I would have immediately spoken to the manager about it.
I'm not too keen on French Baker ... even with their baked goods. I prefer Delifrance.
Roast pork love it!
Awww... kainis, lol. I hope you complained so that they know about it. Haven't tried that yet in FB.
It's been quite some tome since I last visited French Baker, I remember the clam chowder served on sour dough bread...
hmm, some people would go ballistic complaining about the burnt food. hats off to you for keeping cool.it does look appetizing though.
every business would wish to have a customer like you, hihi.. still it looks very yummy for me. i would also eat it without any complain, teehee..
Does it taste burnt? I hope not. I miss eating at French Baker.
I could simple tell how creamy the sauce is.
good thing it tasted great or else you'd return it and the manager will have to fire the cook! hehe, just kidding. bait mo! same here, i wouldn't complain unless it tasted bad. :)
