Found this tree with orange fruits along the dirt road in Caramoan on our way to Kulapnit Cave. Fascinated at the clusters of orange fruits on the trunk and branches, I took photos and asked some locals to identify it. Unfortunately, nobody seemed to know what this tree is called or if the fruit is edible.

Are these orange fruits edible? Pretty colour! They remind me of my rowanberries, except the rowanberries are smaller. These seem to be a big as plums.
Happy Weekend,

Anna's PH-Orange
I've seen fruit like that in Hong Kong. And like you, wondered if it was edible -- but am not going to try doing that blind! ;b
I've only seen these when they are green, not yet orange, and the friend I hike with knows what it's called... but do you think I'd remember? I think they are so funny to look at the way they grow straight out of the trunk. I'll try to remember to ask her next time I see her, but let't neither of us hold our breaths, okay? :-)
(I was trying to figure out how to play this meme, but no linky?)
They do look like they would be tasty if they were edible. Great pics!
I came across this kind of orange trees while in Turkey too. i was told that the oranges are bitter and are used to make marmalade.
Have you everbeen able to find them on google or suchlike?
They sure are orange.
i have the same question as you have. anyway, this looks inviting especially to the curious ones. :)
happy weekend!
Very good pictures. Are they oranges or clementines, or something else?
It always amazes me when even the locals don't know what something is. Pretty cool capture of orange. . .

Awesome photo of these orange fruits.
Mine's up too! The Misplaced Midwesterner
I thought it's clementine but realized we don't have it in the PH. I wonder what this fruit is too. Anyway, you've got something real orange for this week's theme.
How interesting! It is a lovely tree. I wonder what those fruits are?
They look delicious, no matter what they are. Thanks for stopping by!
a very nice find.
Lovely shots. Not sure if they are edible but they are very photogenic.
It is interesting how they are growing out of the tree trunk. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anything like it.
they look very interesting!
