Contrast/OWT & WWW

Overlooking a small, crowded pier at Culion Island.
Moved my camera frame a few inches to the left and captured this serene scene---strikingly different from the jam-packed pier.

We do not live an equal life, but one of contrasts and patchwork, now a little joy, then a sorrow, now a sin, then a generous or brave action. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I'm struck by how green and lush the surrounding area is.

How lovely and serene once you get away from the main pier.

Your beautiful post illustrates how much the view can change with just a slight shift of your camera one way or the other.

Wow what a big difference in just a small camera movement. You'd get an A+ in the photo class I'm taking - they've been teaching students to move around before clicking, ya never know what you may get! :)

It's beautiful. I could only imagine the fishing boats early morning in this place bringing the fresh fish. Thanks for joining Water World Wednesday I do appreciate it.
