Planes don't have license plates but they do have international registration numbers painted on the tail. This unique alphanumeric combination is never repeated. So I suppose, this is like a license plate.:p
Below is the current license plate for private vehicles---a combination of green-coded 6 alphanumeric symbols on a white background. On newer vehicles, the first letter usually indicates the region where vehicle is registered. The earliest license plates were introduced around 1912.

Your photos are beautiful. I love the Punta Bulata sunset.
Enjoyed this post! The explanation of your number/license plate makes an interesting comparison with our Australian process!

Singapore license plates are boring. We could use some creative ones. :)
Great choices...love how you incorporated the aircraft one...
Both great choices for the theme :) I especially appreciated the first very creative way of looking at the theme. I like it :)
Great post for the theme this week. Happy weekend!
You sure know a lot about the license plates on private vehicles in your part of the world! :O
love your choices for the theme.
Hi Luna, great photos and a very creative idea for this week's theme. I didn't even think about planes having a license identifier similar to cars. It makes perfect sense.
Have a great weekend.
Mine is a slightly different take on the theme...

I wonder if the driver of that car is often annoyed...
