How I wish I made some kind of a list of bridges and places of interest that we passed from Vigan to Pagudpud. But I was the designated driver on this leg of our road trip and multi-tasking while driving is a bad idea. So with this truss bridge, I don't know where the exact location is. But this is along the Maharlika Highway, about an hour before Pagudpud... probably after Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, approximately 530 kilometers from Manila. The Cordillera mountain range on the left, the South China Sea on the right.

I like that you have various modes of transportation on this bridge! Makes me feel more like I'm actually there. ;)
That's also my problem, sometimes I don't even know the name of the bridge. No matter what, just post it and write the place. Enjoy the rest of Sunday!

That is an unusual bridge.
Indeed... doing other things while driving is indeed dangerous.
A truss bridge is unexpected here, at least that's my feeling. Beautiful shot and be careful driving!
You are so so kind of visiting my blog while I am absent!

oh,our main road here, w/c traverses fr san miguel, bulacan (i think) to as far as nueva viscaya is called maharlika highway, and there were quite a few truss bridges, too, built by the americans:)
"multi-tasking while driving is a bad idea". oh yes, I agree. Many drivers may know it but are just stubborn - even a little distraction like cellphones can be deadly. Oops.
aside from the nice bridges in ilocos, i like the names of the towns that one passes along when going to pagudpud.
I am always the designated driver, but sometimes, when I sit in the passenger's side, I get to take shots.
P.S. Just got back from a 4-state-hopping trip.
Hey, this one is a surprise! A truss bridge....
This sure is an interesting looking bridge! Great capture!
Such a great photo! I like how you have captured the people and vehicles crossing the bridge and the background is lovely.
A gorgeous bridge. Beautiful post.
Very interesting post. The mountains seem to be lovely.
greetings
I have never seen a bridge that looks anything like this one. Interesting.

«Louis» is happy you were able to grab this shot while multi-tasking!
In World War II, the U.S. Navy submarine Pampanito (and other U.S. submarines) rescued some survivors, P.O.W.s, of ships they had torpedoed in the South China Sea. Pampanito has been restored and is at Pier 45 in San Francisco.
