A vertical metal sculpture at the Seattle Center in Washington.
The Rainier Tower along Fifth Avenue in Seattle--a 40-story skyscraper with an unusual design. It has a 121-foot (11-story) vertical base that tapers towards ground level, like an inverted pyramid.
Great photos for this weeks theme. I have been in the Rainier bldg many times, yet it always give me a strange feeling, to walk near it. Thanks for stopping by. Happy week end.

The sculpture is innovative, the building kinda scary looking -- don't think I'd want to be in it! :D
The Rainier Tower is so cool! But I won't want to be inside it as I have experienced an earthquake while in a high-rise apartment.
I love the sculpture. The unusually shaped skyscaper is very unique. Happy weekend.
That Rainier Tower has always fascinated me. It's still standing, after all these years! :)
I wish I had thought of this idea - using stratospheric structures.
Have a great weekend. I envy you for trying out rock climbing :D

That is an amazing building ! I agree with YTSL... I don't want to go inside !
Great photos. I've been in Seattle several times but don't remember the Rainier Tower--will look for it next time I'm in that part of the world.
Fantastic vertical structures but I would be scared to go near the Rainier tower.
