Walking around downtown Seattle last August was an enjoyable experience. There were sculptures, old buildings and fountains to capture the interest of a first-time visitor. I passed by this waterfall fountain in downtown Seattle---the sound of water, the potted plants, they soften the hustle and bustle of a vibrant business district. This fountain has a walk-way that allows pedestrians to stroll through the falling water.

I like the addition of fountains in busy areas, you are right they soften the blow of the hustle and bustle of the place.
One can nearly hear the sound of it.

I love the walk-way. Nice place.
I like the use of waterfalls and fountains in urban spaces, particular when it's coupled with more abstract architecture. I find the combination quite calming.
Kewelopolis! I would really like to walk through the wall of water.

Lovely post. One of my notion in interior building design is to include watery feature like that.
