Kung Hei Fat Choi! If you're looking for something fast, inexpensive and tasty, a Chinese restaurant is the best place to go. My friend S and I were so hungry the other night that it took us a split second to decide where to have dinner at Megamall. The newly renovated Mann Hann was full as usual, good thing we saw two friends already dining so we shared their table and didn't have to wait for a table. We had a bowl of the potentially deadly Lechon Macau Hotpot and Spicy Squid made interesting with its fish sauce and calamansi dip. I enjoy trying new dishes each time I'm in Mann Hann---they serve delicious food, reasonably priced, not boring and unpretentious.

thanks for the tip, Luna! Whenever we're abroad (once in a while, ha---hindi naman kami jetsetters ;-)) we always look for a cozy Chinese (or Vietnamese) resto just because the prices are very reasonable and yet the flavors so delectably "home". We usually though ask not to put too much MSG or even none at all :-)!
wow. mouth-watering could not even give it justice. kakagutom.
Gastronomic overload! :D Yummy!
Kung Hei Fat Choi !
hello, bernadette! if it's my first time in a chinese restaurant, i also ask them about MSG. but frankly, i can't distinguish the difference!:D totoo, naghahanap din ako ng chinese, vietnamese or thai restaurant pag nasa abroad at nami-miss ko na ang rice. isama mo na japanese...after a week without rice, parang nagha-hallucinate na ako! hahahaha
mukhang deadly nga yung hotpot kaya sa squid nalang ako :D
nice shot miss Luna
my entry is here
Great day for us Food Friday Eaters :)
Thanx for the Visit :)
nakalimutan ko rin ang new year's resolution ko, lawstude.:D thanks for visiting!
hehe overload talaga, Gizelle! hilo ako sa gutom bago mag-dinner, then nahilo sa busog after.:D
kung di naman lagi, ok lang lechon macau, jay. thank you for droppin' by.
i think i'm going to go through a chinese food overload soon! we're moving and this means lotsa to-go's!
Everything looks yummy. Mapapakain ako ng husto nyan talaga...
(Since I started cooking without MSG for more than year now (due to circumstances NOT related to any health reasons), I would know if a dish has MSG or not... haha!)
ang sarap! oo nga usually puno ang restaurant na yan kasi ok yung food at prices nila. :)
thanks for playing, Luna
enjoy your weekend!
that looks positively yummy!
I like the spicy squid! mmmmmmm
