Beautiful! I like your hat:) It makes me missed back home!~
If you get a chance, mine is, HERE. Happy RT!!
Lovely flowers ! I have seen a lot of them in Spain !
i always love the sight of bougainvillae---that i have planted a lot around our garden to the dismay of my husband. It really can create quite a jungle! But nevertheless when they're in bloom---heaven on earth!
Your yellow shirt complements the fuschia, Luna---which stands out? you or the blooms? ;-)
The flowers and the person in front are both lovely.
Hello Miranda !
Very beautiful photo, with nice colours...
Have a good day !
nakakaaliw na larawan. parang ikaw ang namumulaklak. hehehe... :-)
woot! sexy! hehe, it's been a while since i last saw some bougainvillea..
really beautiful flowers!!
A perfect match...gorgeous!
@ Sidney, like suman and mango? :D
@ Dianne, thank you.
@ spiCes, yes, it was a sexy bougainvillea.:D
@ Palma Tayona, di ba kita ang mga bubuyog sa paligid? lol Salamat sa pagbisita mo.
Merci, webradio.
Thank you, lawstude (batting eyelashes). :D
you're right, bernadette. the world looks happy and wonderful with the vivid colors of bougainvillea. my aunt surrounded her house with bougainvillea in planters---it was a beautiful sight when they're in bloom. unfortunately, the plants all died when she left for the states, my cousin was too lazy to water them (dapat don' cactus).:D there's also a house near my place where they have an aged bougainvillea at their gate. puno na sya...it's like a scene from the 'secret garden'.:D
thank you, yen. the hat is made of woven raffia.:D
when I was very young a long time ago :-D...our Bisaya neighbor would always water her bougainvillae with an orinola. Of course, she uses this at night instead of going to the toilet. And her blooms are all throughout the year! Our German neighbor (a man) believes that the urine is a good fertilizer and so goes straight to his plants to take a pee...to the consternation of my more urbane German husband (heehee)!
i really miss bougainvillea because it's quite rare here in manila.
Oi thats really a "bongga" villea! Hihi, bongga ka din sa pose Luna! ;-)
i thought urine is diluted with water if it's for the plants.:D di ba mamatay ang halaman pag pure? (hehehe) my lola used to do that, too---wala naman water shortage.:D she told me its the urea in urine that benefits the plants. so your neighbor's garden smells like a urinal?!:D
oo nga, dong. i used to pass by a riot of bouganvillea in fort bonifacio near Gate 3/Marine HQ.
sa pose pa lang nahiya na ang bougainvillea (hahaha). thanks for visiting, gizelle.
