i like that park. just sitting there and hear the splash of the sea. so calm.
sorry for not visiting sooner. just had a weeklong vacation and the work just piled-up. i'll catch-up on my readings/blog-hops once my sched returns to normal. have a nice day friend.
hi, eastcoastlife! i hope you'd get some time off soon to kick off your shoes and have that cold drink. oh yes, the Philippines suffered a great deal from the Japanese Army during WW 2. the Manila massacre alone in 1945 claimed the lives of at least 100,000 Filipinos. Manila was even called the "Warsaw of Asia", being the most devastated city in Asia during WW 2 after Nanjing.

Bonjour Miranda !
C'est bien de pouvoir s'amuser sur les pelouses, ou sur l'herbe...
Nice photos.
See You later.
Looks like a wonderful day for everybody. There's nothing better than a lazy afternoon!
I hope to spend a lazy afternoon reading and sipping iced cold drink! I'm too bust to even go to the loo these days. haha....
I didn't know the elder people of Philippines had suffered under the Japanese Imperial Army too. Your grandfather should have some stories to tell.
Looks like the children are having a great time at that lovely place.
Nice shots of the park. Is that a bay or a lake in the background?
hi, Panaderos! at the background is Tanon Strait---it's between Negros and Cebu. this is Dumaguete's version of Roxas Blvd. without the smog.
hi, carver! those kids loved to pose for the camera.:D

this city is very simple. simple living, yet people are happy. nice place.

Simply beautiful, Luna!
A friend was born and raised in Dumaguete, and always invites me to visit. One of these days!
