First sunset [SWF]

@ mirandablue

A lazy Saturday.  Hung-over from the New Year's revelries.  Wallowed in Fritz' attention and a Dexter marathon.   It was late in the afternoon when I finally took a shower, grabbed my camera and ran to the roof deck to bask in the first sunset of 2011 with a cup of coffee.

Another new year, another roller coaster of challenges and opportunities.  From Brazil to Belgium, Moscow to Manila...no rest for the wicked in 2011.  Cheers!

WOW! Very beautiful skies. I really like the fence in the first photo and the silhouette of the palm in the third, which add to the pictures.

I think I'm going to put a visit to Antipolo on my list of things to do this year... and maybe I'll strike it lucky to see a gorgeous sunset like this. I also want to come see the Silangang Gardens and Pinto Art Museum.

I really like the last picture, with the black silhouettes against the vibrant colours.

Beautiful photos! I stink at photography even though I have a degree in art education. I'm envious.

What a fabulous series for shots for this Friday. I especially like the ones with the wiring in them - or metal. I cannot really tell which it is. I am so glad you went up to the roof with your camera. Happy New Year to you. Genie

Lovely views of the years first sunset. I think that second is my favorite, I like the lines of the fence and the strong diagonal.
