The beach is in my blood, like a sea turtle, I always return to it instinctively. When we were kids, the beach was the only place where we could play in the sand, splash in the water, and soak in the sun without our mother getting mad. The only place we were allowed to get dirty, get wet, walk and run barefoot. I am always happy when I'm at the beach...when I smell the salty water, feel the sea breezes, listen to the gentle lapping waves---they create a sense of peace.
"At the beach, life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun."

A beautiful water scene. Those small catamarans look very inviting and so does that clear water :)
ReplyDeletetamang tama ang sinabi mo sa last line....masarap pagmasdan ang alon ng dagat ..o pagmasdan ang mga ulap habang nakahiga sa malambot na buhangin..sarap rin mag isip
ReplyDeleteI love all beaches too ! Imagine that I was 15 when I saw the sea for the first time ! That was the Belgian coast in 1959 !
ReplyDeleteMe, too, life was that when we were kids. We live so close to the beach.
ReplyDeleteLove the white sands and the blue waters.
Wouldn't I LOVE to wading in the water there right NOW!
ReplyDeleteI love what you have said about the beach. So true. A gorgeous beach!
ReplyDeleteOh i miss this kind of beach...happy WW!
ReplyDeleteMine is here
A day would not go if we would not go to the beach as kids, we did have a house by the beach and I'm really missing it. But now it takes me some miles before I can be at the beach. Your Nalusuan photos are wonderful too, was there way back...early 2000's.
ReplyDeleteNothing like walking barefoot on a warm beach. Wish I lived near one.
ReplyDeleteWe are so lucky to have both grew up near the beach, nakakamiss na nga eh puro bundok nakikita ko dito lol.

ReplyDeleteThe beach is so calming and serene as you have so well captured on the photos.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!...Christine
ReplyDeleteIt looks like your own private paradise.
ReplyDeleteYour words are so true. I feel really free at the beach when I am in the ocean. We are experiencing a tragic oil spill in our ocean right now down on the gulf coast and I can't imagine life without the sea. I am going to follow your wonderful blog. Off to take a swim in my ocean and praying the oil does not head our way.

Me too...me too. I remember the first time I saw the ocean and beach when I was a kid...being landlocked in Colorado for so many years, I finally arrived at the beach...I got here as quick as I could, and stayed.

Lovely post. We lived on the Snake River (!) in Washington State when I was a kid and we spent hours and hours of summer on the river beach. Nice memories. I enjoyed yours.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Love seeing the ocean change second by second.

That beach is breathtaking with all the trees around it, I love it. And NO no flooding here in our area....if we did, the World would be ending...we are a very hilly area.
