Caffeine deprivation, the sea breezes and the sun made me drowsy while waiting for high tide at Sabitang Laya, one of the islands in the Caramoan Peninsula. I looked for some shade to take a quick shut-eye while my friends were perfecting their jump shots, and found a huge and hollow rock by the shore. It was a cool place and I took a nap covered by a rock, with cracks!

A unique take on this theme and still you're able to continue with the series you are running. Pretty clever.
ReplyDeletebeautiful takes on the theme
ReplyDeleteYour photos make me want to re-visit Caramoan! Been there in 1998, way before it became what it is now, and has not come back eversince. I pretty much remember when we couldn't dock in Guijalo and we're transported via small bancas to reach the pier. Very nice photo series indeed, can't wait to see the rest.

These are all wonderful shots. I love the rocks in the first shots and the fog adds so much to the last ones. I find fog to be very romantic.
ReplyDeleteI could imagine myself in that crackly rocky spot---for about 3 seconds. I am covered in a different way.
ReplyDeleteat first i was going to ask you where caramoan is but i went to your previous post and i saw it is in camarines sur. wow! now i remember, this place was once featured on trip na trip on tfc.i hope i'm right.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and post. Yesterday was warm and I saw two young women laying on the grass reading books by the river.
