Liquid gold [Watery/Outdoor Wednesday]
The sluggish days
of Decembercreep into my skin, stealthily moves shadows under my eyes. Shivering as the sun
turns water into liquid gold, burning the stifled tears yearning to be consoled. Oh, where has the warmth of summer gone?
Lovely golden shot, and I was asking that same question today... where has the warmth gone? Even here in the Sunshine State, we were chilly today. I miss the long hours of light at this time of year.
What a stunning watery sunset view and lovely poem. I also enjoyed the little yellow car and the adorable photo in the previous post. Wish I had time to visit your lovely blog more often. Hugs and blessings, My Outdoor Wednesday
Loved all your gold pictures. The verse of thoughts is true for me. As this whole year, not just the summer, has gone much too fast. Enjoyed your blog and your visit with me.
Golden liquid - perfect word for it.
ReplyDeleteAnd all at the cocoanut tree - like that.
