hahaha! I'm a sucker for those things too, Luna---nilagang mani, balut, shigalig, fish crackers, turon, banana cue, penoy, mais, chicharon, pongkan, balloons...i get a kick in the thought that I help our economy this way too ;-D!

Hahahaaa... everyone I know woul dbe tempted to eat Penoy [or balut, as the case maybe] sa harap ng dalampasigan. Great pictures. I know I have been to port Dumaguete but somehow I could not recall the places depicted in these photos.

i think it's very Pinoy, bernadette. when we were kids, most vendors would drop by our house because my father always bought everything in the basket. bicho-bicho, fresh lumpia, alupe (suman), ibos, palitaw were among our favorites. kumusta ka na? :D

I never got to go down that wall by the boulevard when I first went to Dumaguete. This month, we will go there and I will really go down and touch the waters of Dumaguete. =)

My weekend snapshots are posted here and here. Have a great week ahead!

Love the first photo. There is something in there that...
- calms me
- hints of sadness
- makes me smile as well.
And probably a lot more.

Hi, Luna, I'm from Dumaguete, and I miss home and this scene, and especially at night, the boulevard is very well lighted and lots of vendors selling their wares, lots of people walking and strolling along the boulevard. Our house is just a few blocks away. Nice shots, too.

hello, ebie! i enjoyed walking at the boulevard after dinner, it's a nice, safe place, and the aroma of grilled chicken wafted through the breeze. wishing you a great homecoming soon! thanks for visiting.
