Sky Watch Friday: an afternoon in Davao

A late afternoon sky in Davao City, taken at the sea shore beside Magsaysay Park.

The Ramon Magsaysay Monument was built in honor of the third President of the Philippines.
Outside the park is the Magsaysay Market where Davao fruits such as durain, pomelo, mangosteen, lanzones are sold. The fruit stands have tables and chairs for customers who want to eat fresh durian.

the infamous durian---love it or hate it!

sweet and juicy pomelo

Ang ganda naman ng coastline sa Davao, halos magkakulay na ang dagat at langit!

Haaaay, dream ko talaga makapunta ng Davao. Sana matupad, kakain talaga ako ng maraming pomelo! Hehehehe.

Great shots! Happy Kadayawan (tama ba greeting ko)!

My SWF pictures are posted in these blogs:

I love the afternoon sky with all those wonderful blues.
The oblique clouds behind the monument set off the second picture nicely too.

Happy skywatching!

Wonderful SkyWatch pictures. I especially like the second one with the tower-like structure in front of the diagonally-layed clouds.

Were you there during the festival? If you were, lucky you! I've booked a flight but it's going to be too late for Kadayawan.

I love the first photo. Magsaysay Park has one of the prettiest, most peaceful vistas.
