Orange Lanterns/Mandarin Orange Monday

Chinese New Year is celebrated today by Chinese communities all over the world, including the Filipino-Chinese community in the Philippines.  CNY, also known as the Spring Festival, marks the end of the winter season.  It ends on the 15th day with a Lantern Festival.  I am looking forward to niangao, popularly known here as tikoy, from my Chinese friends.:p

  1. I've never been to a lantern festival, but they look fascinating. I love the perspective of the first photo, and what you did with the photograph of the lantern. Blessings!

  4. You did great things with your editing! You even introduced a little blue into the lanterns! I like the line pattens of the background and the way they contrast with the lantern. Thank you for sharing with Mandarin Orange Monday:)
