Another one of my "pacham" dishes---garlic & rosemary chicken. Instead of baking the marinated chicken, I slow-cooked it until tender.
How-to: Marinate chicken breast in minced garlic, salt & pepper, pinch of sugar, soy sauce and fresh rosemary. Stir-fry chicken, add water and bring to boil. Add marinade when chicken is tender and cook until marinade is reduced.
I wanted to add white wine but my mother stopped me.:p
Verdict: My mom and nephew liked it.
P.S.: "pacham" = pa-tsamba :p

This looks so yummy. We eat a lot of chicken so I will have to TRY to replicate your recipe. It sounds easy enough for me to handle :-) genie
ReplyDeleteHmmm ... that looks mighty appetizing, Luna. Not pacham at all :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you to find time to cook for your mom and nephew despite your busy biz schedule.
Yum. I can smell the aroma of rosemary... masarap na pacham ito!
ReplyDeleteParang adobo with rosemary! I wanna try, kaso walang fresh rosemary. :( Kapag nadaan ako sa weekend market, bili ako ng pots of herbs. Hopping from Food Trip Friday.

I'll copy the recipe but I'll find fresh rosemary first. I only know a few chicken recipes so I'll try to cook this one next time. Thanks for the recipe in advance.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!! gotta look for rosemary now :D
ReplyDeleteThat looks super delicious! I made chicken for lunch today and that's close to what I wanted to make. Only thing is I didn't have rosemary. So I made a hodgepodge marinade with soy sauce, lemongrass and galangal. Turned out like adobo :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from FTF!
I like chicken with rosemary. Yummy! I've only had chicken with rosemary twice, one at Capricciosa and the other one at Puerto, but I enjoyed both.
ReplyDeletemy youngest finds rosemary a bit strong, but am slowly teaching him how to appreciate it. he loves chicken so will try this!
