A short wood bridge at the Butterfly Sanctuary in Malagos Garden Resort, Davao City. This sanctuary houses the biggest butterflies in the Philippines, but there was light rain when we walked in the sanctuary and we didn't see any butterfly, not even one.:p

Cute bridge, sayang (pity) no butterflies. I'll have to remember this place next time I visit Davao.
ReplyDeleteI love how the foot bridge is surrounded by so many different green plants! Too bad about the butterflies though. Maybe they were napping ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow does it rain inside? ;-D
ReplyDeleteIt is fun walking over such cute bridges. :)
ReplyDelete«Louis» has always liked butterflies. He would like to visit this sanctuary.
ReplyDelete«Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
Love the arched rails of the bridge. I have never been to an open butterfly sanctuary, must be difficult to take some shots.
ReplyDeleteI have been to one here in LA, but it is enclosed.
OH! I wish I had been with you!
ReplyDelete@ Ebie, this sanctuary is also enclosed by a dome-shaped net. there's a metal frame for the net. the caretaker told me that butterflies hide when it's raining.:p
ReplyDeleteIt is great bridge!
ReplyDeleteWhere do butterflies hide when it rains? Looks like a nice place - so lush.
ReplyDeleteoh so they hide when it's raining. i went to mambucal in bacolod and visited their butterfly sanctuaries. there were big ones too but im sure the ones in davao are bigger.
