At the Butterfly Sanctuary [Sunday Bridges]

A short wood bridge at the Butterfly Sanctuary in Malagos Garden Resort, Davao City.  This sanctuary houses the biggest butterflies in the Philippines, but there was light rain when we walked in the sanctuary and we didn't see any butterfly, not even one.:p

  9. I love how the foot bridge is surrounded by so many different green plants! Too bad about the butterflies though. Maybe they were napping ;-)

  13. Love the arched rails of the bridge. I have never been to an open butterfly sanctuary, must be difficult to take some shots.

I have been to one here in LA, but it is enclosed.

  14. @ Ebie, this sanctuary is also enclosed by a dome-shaped net. there's a metal frame for the net. the caretaker told me that butterflies hide when it's raining.:p
