Sand-rock shores [Watery & Outdoor Wednesday]

These are the sand-rock shores at the eastern tip of Sabitang-Laya Island in the Caramoan Peninsula. A spectacular landscape and environment from distinctly eroded limestone, becoming twisted and contorted from years of wave action and weather patterns. Sand-rock shores, with their broken surfaces, deep gutters and channels, are excellent habitats for many intertidal species. These photos were taken at low tide.

  7. Hoy Luna! I read your comment on Jan's and you thought they're carabaos? Well I thought the second photo were crocodiles haha!

There are lots of rock formations of that kind in Camarines that emerges on low tides and they're like mini coral reefs.
