Food Friday: something light
After the carbohydrate and fat-rich foods we consumed on New Year's eve, I opted for this light fare of steamed fish fillet in soy sauce garnished with steamed broccoli, slices of black mushrooms, carrots and spring onions. Try this at Zong, a hip Chinese bistro at The Fort Strip, Global City.
hello, rod! glad to know you're enjoying this blog. and thank you for taking time reading from the oldest to the most recent post...truly appreciate it! i hope you'd come back soon.:D
That steamed fish fillet looks very good. I love fish fillets because one never gets a heavy feeling after having them. Thanks for sharing..... the pic. Hehehe
You gave me a good idea to go for leaner fares this year. Can I stick to it? The big test is when we go on a cruise middle of this month. If I can do it without jumping overboard out of frustration, I'll make it through the year LOL.
there are meat substitutes, bertn. i'm a meat-eater, too, so i understand your apprehension. every time i'm about to binge on red meat or pork, i tell myself---mahal ang meds! that reminder works 80% of the time.:D
i enjoyed reading your blog from the time you started it (nov 2007), till your jan. 2 2009 post.......... that was non stop!
