Sky-watching at Lon Hua Temple

Lon Hua Temple, Davao City

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...We need silence to be able to touch souls.

~ Mother Teresa

  15. hi, dong! i also wanted to visit mosques but my friend [from davao] advised me that we might not be allowed to enter because it was a friday, and i was wearing a low-necked sleeveless top.:D

so this temple was a great stopover...and it goes to show that it's possible for christians, muslims, buddhist, etc. to live together peacefully.
