This is my wild encounter with a Bengal Tiger at the Zoobic Safari two years ago. Watching the tiger pounce his way to our vehicle, my heart somersaulted, and I almost dropped the camera. Pictures of a tiger devouring a bloody carcass flashed through my mind. A hungry tiger is said to eat as much as 60 pounds of meat in one night. Tigers are renowned for their strength and power---they are loners and very territorial. They are nocturnal hunters and use their distinctive coats as camouflage---no two tigers have exactly the same stripes. A bit of tiger trivia: A tiger’s roar can be heard as far as 2 miles (3 km) away.
Bengal tigers originally came from India and they are in the endangered species list. Zoobic breeds tigers in captivity to help on the conservation of this fearsome and magnificent mammal.

I like this monkey’s wild hairdo. His spikes remind me of Mr. T's mohawk hairstyle in the 80's.
