Moon-gazing/SWF

Moon-gazing in March under the MoA Eye.  This brought me back to the summer nights of my childhood--riding the Ferris Wheel at the fair during a town fiesta.  Eating rice cakes under the full moon at the plaza, hoping a certain boy would smile at me.

How many more times you will watch the full moon rise?  Perhaps twenty.  And yet it all seems limitless.

Hi Luna, yes i was a rain after stalker :). Those are nice shots of the moving Eye! I've been trying to capture the Eye of the Emirates in Dubai few years ago but my PnS did not give it justice. MoA is too far from QC though, but yes it is nearer than Dubai.

These are gorgeous photos, and what a perfect quote to accompany them!

I have similar childhood and adolescent memories of the carnival and riding the Ferris wheel, along with the roller coaster, my favorite of the rides (if only I'd also been eating snacks as healthy as rice cakes then, but that came later!) :-)

Good thing you mentioned the moon, as I was so caught up in the ferris wheel that I did not see the moon...

Your pictures are beautiful, but you could never get me to go up on one of those scary things. I want my feet on the ground. The blue against the sky is magical. genie
