Grilled Chicken with mushrooms

@ mirandablue
The newest addition to Texas Roadhouse Grill's menu is the Grilled Chicken with mushrooms and mushroom sauce.  This was Ivar's choice when we had dinner there on Sunday.  Naturally, he ordered an additional cup of rice--he's still a growing kid, after all.:p  I had a few bites of the grilled chicken and it was good!

Closed [Sarado]

@ mirandablue

Do you wonder what's happening behind closed doors?  Were you ever tempted to take a  peek or eavesdrop?  Or do you imagine a person hiding behind a closed door is imprisoned by real or imagined fears?

Gota Village [Watery & Outdoor Wednesday]

@ mirandablue
Gota is a small cove in the Caramoan peninsula with two white sandy beaches separated by a small limestone hill.  The provincial government of Camarines Sur developed an ecovillage here and turned it into a resort.  This hidden paradise is now an ecotourism destination after international franchises of Survivor were shot here.  The 8th season of Koh-Lanta (French edition of Survivor) was shot entirely here. This was also the set of the Serbian version for two consecutive years, three seasons of Survivor-Israel and the Bulgarian version filmed their 4th season here last year.   The natural diversity and exotic adventure in this place are exciting and enthralling.  You can really get lost in the wilderness of Gota.

Gota Village was closed to the public when we visited Caramoan in April.  The top photo is a small uninhabited limestone island across Gota while the photo below is Gota's west side beach.  I took the last photo while cruising in an outrigger boat.

The Nutcracker at the Fiesta Market [My World and Ruby Tuesday]

@ mirandablue
The Fiesta Market is an outdoor market area of Market! Market!, a mall in Global City, Taguig.  It has regional food stalls where I go when I have cravings for native delicacies like kwakoy, mango tart, lengua de gato and other favorites like dried squid, roasted coffee from Bukidnon, and Vigan empanada.  It has the freshness of a Sunday street market where you can find fresh vegetables and fruits, flowers and seafoods.   There is also a hawker's area where you can sample various Filipino food--from pork BBQ to halo-halo, lechon, fish kinilaw, pancit habhab and dinuguan.  Fiesta Market also has  a well-stocked rice vendor and wine stores.

Separated by a fountain is Market! Market!'s Christmas display---The Nutcracker.   This  attracts kids an adults alike.  Standing beside a bunch of kids, I was as fascinated by a life- size Clara dancing with her prince, with larger-than-life rotating nutcracker and a host of animated characters.

Bridge in Fontana [Sunday Bridges]

@ mirandablue
On the left side, shaded by old acacia trees, there's a small bridge crossing a man-made lagoon at Fontana Leisure Park in Clark, Pampanga.  Clark, a former US military base, now a free zone, is an economic hub 90 minutes (by land) north of Manila.
